Slow Boogie’s is a purpose-driven craft soda and coffee company based on the Eastside of San Antonio. We exist to prepare, employ, and empower under-resourced youth through meaningful work, mentorship, and real-world opportunities.

At our core, Slow Boogie’s is a social enterprise. Every float, cold brew, soda, and catered event directly supports our mission of creating paid job opportunities and workforce development experiences for young people in our community. We don’t hire youth to make root beer—we make root beer to hire youth.

Through hands-on experience in hospitality, customer service, food and beverage operations, events, and entrepreneurship, young people gain practical skills, confidence, work experience, and mentorship that help prepare them for long-term success. We believe employment can be a powerful pathway toward dignity, stability, and opportunity.

What started as just trying to make a batch of root beer has grown into a community-focused brand offering craft sodas, floats, sundaes, cold brew coffee, canned lattes, pop-ups, catering, and custom beverage experiences across San Antonio. Whether we are serving from our iconic float trailer, partnering with local organizations, or creating custom products for businesses and events, our goal remains the same: to create opportunities that strengthen our community.
